Since 1986, Phi Mu has raised over $20 million for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals and in 2019, we were recognized as a CMN Hospitals Miracle Million Club member, an honor for corporate partners that raise more than $1 million each year. In 2018, Phi Mu announced our commitment to raise $10 million for CMN Hospitals in five years which was completed 6 months early!
All funds raised for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals stay in the local community for patient care, new equipment and research on children’s diseases, illnesses and injuries. Our members are passionate about CMN Hospitals and provide financial support through their local philanthropic initiatives including toy and supply drives, BonnaMu music festivals, food-based fundraisers and sporting events for the campus community. Each year, approximately 65 children’s hospitals nationwide benefit from Phi Mu’s collegiate and alumnae chapter fundraising events.
In addition, our members participate in their campus Dance Marathons. Each year, thousands of our members raise funds for their local children’s hospitals through fundraising, dancing and even serving in leadership roles for Dance Marathon.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals® raises funds and awareness for 170 member hospitals that provide 32 million treatments each year to kids across the U.S. and Canada. Donations stay local to fund critical treatments and healthcare services, pediatric medical equipment and charitable care. Since 1983, Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals has raised more than $5 billion, most of it $1 at a time through the charity’s Miracle Balloon icon. Its various fundraising partners, including Phi Mu, and programs support the nonprofit’s mission to save and improve the lives of as many children as possible.
