As collegians, we each made a lifetime commitment to Phi Mu. There is no better way to fulfill that promise than by giving back to our Fraternity. Whether you can give a little or a lot of time, the contribution of your talents and life experiences can enrich the lives of our collegiate and alumnae members. Opportunities may include participating as a team member on a one-time project, serving as a Chapter Adviser or an alumnae chapter officer and being appointed as an area or national officer.
If you are interested in learning more about the volunteer opportunities below, please reach out to info@phimu.org or fill out this form.
Alumnae volunteers serve in a variety of roles that support alumnae engagement, collegiate membership and operations, finance, housing, extension, leadership and curriculum development and Phi Mu’s philanthropic initiatives. These positions are appointed in odd-numbered years.
Strong collegiate chapters have the support of strong Advisory Councils. These alumnae volunteers work directly with chapter officers and are responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the chapter’s goals and plans.
Many chapters are fortunate to have a house, suite, residence hall floor or chapter room where they live or meet. Chapter house corporation volunteers monitor and support chapter housing operations at the local level. These alumnae work closely with the collegiate members and facilities staff to ensure a safe experience for our members.
